Soon after Major League Baseball its 60-game 2020 schedule (shortened due to the coronavirus pandemic) the league followed up with the unveiling of the 2021 season schedule on Thursday. The 162-game regular season will begin with all 30 clubs playing on Thursday, April 1.Opening Day weekend will include a six-game schedule for April 2 followed by a full 15-game slate on April 3. Dodgers-Astros in L.A.The Dodgers and Astros are scheduled for a two-game series in Los Angeles next year. The two clubs are set to face each other in the 2020 season schedule, as well, Miguel Cabrera Jersey but another matchup in 2021 provides a much better chance of fans being in attendance. There's certainly a lot of tension between these two clubs, not only did the Dodgers lose to the Astros in the 2017 World Series, but it was later revealed that Houston was that season.2. Yankees-Mets will play on 9/11The Yankees and Mets will play at Citi Field on the 20th anniversary of Sept. 11. The New York franchises have never played on Sept. 11 in the last 20 years and only once before have both clubs been at home in New York on that date. In 2014 the Mets hosted the Nationals at Citi Field while the Yankees hosted the Rays at Yankee Stadium.3. All-Star Game in AtlantaThe Atlanta Braves will host the 2021 All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 13 at Truist Park. The 91st All-Star Game will be the third MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta, and Brandon Dixon Jersey at the third at a different ballpark in the city. The 1972 All-Star Game was held in what was then called Atlanta Stadium, and the 2000 All-Star Game was played in Turner Field. Now the 2021 All-Star Game will be played in Truist Park, formerly known as SunTrust Park, which opened in 2017 and was renamed heading into the 2020 season.Earlier this month, the league announced the cancelation of the 2020 All-Star Game, which was scheduled to be played at Dodger Stadium in Los Dixon Machado Jersey Angeles.
