I am busy setting up a new computer (Dell XPS8910) and solving teething troubles one by one.
The latest error is that WMP plays .MP3 files just fine unless Finale 25 is open. Then I get a "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing this file" error. If I close Finale, the file plays correctly.I realise it could be one (or more) of a myriad of things: codecs, sound card driver, VST plug-ins, PEBKAC, and so on.Before I start messing with things I don't understand has anyone any advice for me?
